In Sweden, Kex means biscuit, this is more of a waffle wafer covered in delectable, creamy milk chocolate! It's incredibly popular with the Swedes, and for good reason! Perfect with your morning coffee, afternoon tea, evening hot chocolate or any time of day.
Kexchoklad is a staple at any outdoorsy event in Sweden. Doing a run? Have a kexchoklad. Triathlon? Kexchoklad. Skiing? Oh but kexchoklad. Thin crispy wafers layered and covered in creamy milk chocolate. Really delicious – we also like to crumble them over ice cream. Yum!
Ingredients:
Sugar, WHEAT flour, vegetable fat (shea, palm*, coconut), skimmed MILK powder, WHEY powder, cocoa butter, whole MILK powder, cocoa mass, fat reduced cocoa powder, emulsifier (SOY lecithin), salt, baking powder, aromas (vanilla). The MILK chocolate contains other vegetable fats than cocoa butter. Contains min 25% cocoa.
